Today, the international community is confronting with numerous challenges ranging from security to socio-economic issues. The major cause of these problems is lack of inclusive approach at community, state, regional and global levels in policy-making and implementation processes.  Contemporary social, economic, political and security realities demand active engagement of stakeholders for resolving complex global issues.  The very purpose of Asian Peace and Development Institute (APDI) is to open channels of communication, coordination and consultation among all stakeholders to tackle core issues and foster cooperation for durable peace and sustainable development. At present, the organization operates from Islamabad but it plans to ensure its presence in other capitals of Asia and rest of the world in future.
